Description
The Meteor NF.11 night fighter version was developed by the Armstrong Whitworth Aircraft Company during late 1949. Aircraft number WM262 was used for trial of the EMI/Vickers ‘Blue Boar’ weapons system and after initial tests the aircraft was shipped to Australia for use in further trials of the ‘Blue Boar’ guided bomb. This decal sheet is designed to be used with the Classic Airframes 1/48 scale Meteor NF.11 kit and provides all the required airframe stencil data markings and the RAAF serial number.
