Description
The Bell P-39 Airacobra was only operated in small numbers by the RAAF – 22 to be exact. However, the aircraft was important because it allowed the RAAF to rapidly equip a number of new squadrons during the hectic expansion phase of late 1942.
This Red Roo Models decal sheet is available in both 1/72 scale and 1/48 scale. The sheet is clean and crisply printed, colours are matched to RAAF specs and applicable FS and BS standards. Three aircraft are featured on the sheet. A53-9, T-Z of 23 Squadron RAAF; A53-13, T-Y of 23 Squadron RAAF; and the mysterious A53-6, FA-F of 82 Squadron RAAF.
